The comments section was filled with messages praising her as users wrote, “She’s an amazing blessing” and “goosebumps and tears always!”
This isn’t the first time the country superstar has surprised the Rolling Hills Community Church. In August, she joined the church band to help lead worship.
Once again, social media users couldn’t help but compliment the Oklahoma native for her vocal abilities and also for openly sharing her faith.
“Carrie Underwood worshipping the Lord the way she knows how…chill bumps and tears streaming down my face hearing this,” one YouTube user wrote.
Another shared, “And look how gracious she is when the song ends. It wasn’t about her. It was about praising the Lord and that’s so so obvious in her body language when the song concludes.”
Underwood is no stranger to Christmas music. She released her first Christmas album, My Gift, in September 2020. The following year, she released My Gift (Special Edition) with three new tracks. This project debuted at No.1 on Billboard Holiday Albums chart.
In support of the releases, Underwood appeared at various high profile holiday events, including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and CMA Country Christmas, and also released a Christmas special, My Gift: A Christmas Special From Carrie Underwood.
While she doesn’t have any Christmas appearances planned this year, Carrie Underwood will ring in the new year in a big way. Fans can catch the superstar delivering a medley of her biggest hits just before the ball drops on New Year’s Eve in Times Square. She’s set to headline Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025, which will also feature performances by Megan Moroney, Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett, and more.
2025 is shaping up to be a big year for Underwood. She’s also slated to premiere a concert special showcasing her dazzling Las Vegas residency on Hulu in January and will make her debut as an American Idol judge alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie and longtime host Ryan Seacrest.
