Taylor Swift, whose Evermore vinyl edition broke the record for the biggest sales week for a vinyl album in the U.S., celebrated the success by releasing a ’90s-inspired remix of “Willow” on Thursday (June 3).
“You guys went and did the nicest thing this week and broke the record for biggest vinyl sales week.. like ever? NOW WE DAHNCE,” Swift wrote in a an Instagram post alongside a series of pictures.
“The willow (90’s trend remix) is a thank you from me, available today only on my site. Put her on repeat for a good time but if you don’t want to have a good time there’s always champagne problems & every other song on evermore so you can get deep in your deepest feelings,” Swift said.
According to MRC Data, the vinyl edition of Evermore, released on May 28, sold over 40,000 copies in the U.S. through May 30, beating Jack White‘s Lazaretto, which sold 40,000 copies in the week ending June 15, 2014.
