Fresh off his first-ever CMA Awards win, Riley Green offers a heartfelt Christmas original, “Christmas To Me.” 

The Alabama native captures the nostalgia of a small-town Christmas with family throughout the song as he paints the picture of a family gathering at Grandma’s house and the special moments that take place throughout the day. From the yard looking “like a parking lot” to all the grandkids piling up on grandpa’s lap, the song encompasses the little moments that make it truly feel like Christmas to Green. 

“And all them in-laws are showin’ up late/ For a five star meal on a paper plate/ Sound of bare foot feet runnin’ through the house/ The football games just about to start/ About the time momma has a come-apart/ ‘Cause sister’s new tattoo she just found out about/ There’s a string of lights all tangled around the tree/ That’s Christmas to me,” he sings on the chorus. 

Green’s distinctive Alabama-born vocals take center stage in the track, accompanied by sparse instrumentation featuring the strum of an acoustic guitar and the gentle hum of a fiddle.

“Christmas To Me” was co-written by Green with frequent collaborator Erik Dylan and produced by Dann Huff. 

Adding another personal touch to the release, the cover art features Green as a young boy surrounded by family opening presents on Christmas day. 

The song arrives just weeks after the release of his third studio album, Don’t Mind If I Do, which has raked in over 10.2 million streams since its release. 

Green celebrated his first CMA Award win alongside his tour mate and duet partner, Ella Langley, on November 20. The pair took home the win for “you look like you love me,” which is rapidly climbing the charts at country radio. 

Riley Green will enjoy a bit of downtime over the holiday season before kicking off his headlining Damn Country Music Tour in 2025. The trek officially launches on March 27 and runs throughout 2025. 

Green revealed plans earlier today to take his tour overseas with a series of shows in the United Kingdom and Ireland next fall. From September 11 to September 19, fans across the pond will have the chance to experience the country superstar live in concert.
