Country star Randy Travis has released a trailer for More Life, a documentary detailing his life, which is set to premiere on the Circle Network on February 10.
The documentary centers around Travis’ 2012 performance that marked the celebration of the 25th anniversary of his debut album, Storms of Life. The album, released in 1986, went platinum, setting a record for being the first debut album to achieve the feat in country music.
The movie aims to take fans on the singer’s journey and rise to stardom and his battle with illness. The documentary is named after one his songs, “More Life,” which was recorded by him and The Eagles‘ Don Henley in 2011.
In the trailer, Travis’ wife Mary is seen saying the song became their battle cry during his recovery as they fought for more life and more time.
Travis notched up 18 No. 1 hits, including “Forever and Ever, Amen,” “On the Other Hand” and “I Told You So.” He also garnered eight Platinum albums, seven Grammy Awards and 10 ACM Awards. His gospel songs, “Three Wooden Crosses” and “Baptism,” won him Dave Awards.
Travis was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016.
