Morgan Wallen has announced his return to the stage with a benefit concert in support of the victims of the recent severe storms and flooding in Humphreys County, Tennessee.
“Morgan Wallen and Friends,” featuring performances by Wallen alongside Dierks Bentley, HARDY, and Cole Swindell, will take place on September 8 at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works.
Announcing the concert on social media, Wallen said he was touched and heartbroken by the stories he heard from the recent flooding and it’s impact in Middle Tennessee.
“Wanted to do my part to help. Proud that this is my first official show in such a long time. Hope you guys can make it on such short notice,” Wallen added. “I will also post a story with info on how to donate if you are unable to attend the show.”
The country music singer and songwriter is organizing the concert in partnership with The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund. Grants from the Fund will be made to nonprofits supporting relief and restoration in areas of Middle Tennessee affected by the severe storms and floods.
