Country star Luke Bryan recently shared an emotional video for his new hit single, “Up.”
The video, featuring footage from Bryan’s childhood, was directed by Shaun Silva.
Speaking about the video, Bryan said, “When I saw the footage of my boys with both their grandfathers and then the closeup clip of my brother basically looking at me, it was so overwhelming.”
“I could not be prouder, not only of the message of this song, but also how this video turned out. I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as I have,” the five-time Entertainer of the Year added.
“Up,” written by Jeremy Bussey, Taylor Phillips and Bobby Pinson, is a song from the deluxe edition of Bryan’s Born Here Live Here Die Here album.
All five previously released singles of the deluxe edition – “Waves,” “Down To One,” One Margarita,” “Knockin’ Boots,” and “What She Wants Tonight” – have reached No. 1.
Born Here Live Here Die Here debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart last summer, making it Bryan’s sixth consecutive appearance in the top position at the time of release.
