Lainey Wilson’s big heart and generous spirit came alive once again during her concert in Little Rock, AR on Friday, November 1. Mid-show, the female superstar invited a young fan up on stage after seeing her sign that revealed she beat cancer not once, but twice.

In a TikTok video captured by a member of the audience, Wilson is seen carrying the handmade sign from one end of the stage to the other and asking the girl if she wanted to hold onto it and show it off to the massive crowd inside Simmons Bank Arena. She then bent down and began reading every item on the “To-Do” list as the girl stood with a big smile on her face.

“Her to-do list is,” Wilson began, “Beat cancer, she did it. Beat cancer again, she did it. Meet Lainey Wilson, she did it. And sing with Lainey … she’s about to do it, y’all.”

The “4x4xU” singer checked off the final box, added her autograph to the bottom of the poster, grabbed the girl’s hand and led her to the end of the catwalk. Together, they began delivering a cover of Miranda Lambert’s fiery hit, “Kerosene.” The fan understandably appeared a bit hesitant standing up on stage, but Wilson stood by her side the entire time, making sure to pass the mic between them and helped build up the girl’s courage to get louder on the chorus.

“C’mon, girl,” Wilson proudly stated as she invited the fan to break out in a dance with her before closing out the song with a tight hug. She then took a brief moment to share a few words off mic as the crowd erupted in a roar of cheers in support of the cancer survivor’s bravery on stage. They hugged once more before the girl was ushered back to her spot in the crowd.

The Louisiana native has made it a point to lift up and empower her young supporters like this throughout her entire Country’s Cool Again Tour. She does so by calling out a fan each night, bringing them up on stage to crown them “Cowgirl of the Night” and gifting them a signature Lainey Wilson cowgirl hat. This has allowed her to help build confidence in the next generation of dreamers by letting them know that they can do anything they set their mind to. Wilson’s generous actions and desire to use her platform to try and make a difference further proves that she is an incredible role model.

During her Arkansas show, the “Cowgirl of the Night” was beaming with joy and energy as she stepped on stage beside Wilson and proudly stated the empowering words that the country star asks each of her special fans to repeat.

@cassiee501 I hope this makes it to this little cowgirl’s mama! I know I’d want this memory! ❤️#laineywilson #concert #cowgirlofthenight #pleaseshare ♬ original sound – Cassie Elliott

These heartfelt moments take place during her current headline run, which began in May 2024 and runs through November 15-16, where she will wrap things up in her home state.
