Jelly Roll will not be headlining a tour in 2025, instead, he plans to play festivals and focus on diving into the world of television.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the chart-topping star revealed the news, noting that this is his first time in four years not headlining in several years.

“This is breaking news for Jelly Roll. I’m not going to headline a tour in America next year,” he announced. “It’ll be my first year not headlining a tour in America since 2020, but before that it was like 2012. It’s been a long time, so I think we’ve done enough this year.”

Instead of headlining a tour, Jelly Roll will appear as a headliner at several festivals while he dips his toes in something new.

“I’m going to do all those festivals next year, and I think I’m going to get into a little television, maybe,” he teased.

While Jelly Roll left McAfree shocked by the news, he would not disclose any further details on camera.

“I’ll break it here, but I can’t tell you today…it’s real,” he said, and later added, “I got a couple cookers in there, man.”

Jelly recently made his acting debut during an episode of Tulsa King alongside Sylvester Stallone. He played himself in the episode, which aired in late September.

The superstar’s break from headlining a tour comes amid the biggest headline tour of his career thus far: The Beautifully Broken Tour. The current trek runs through November 26 where it’s set to wrap up with a hometown show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 26.

The tour is in support of his latest album, the Billboard 200 No.1 critically acclaimed Beautifully Broken.

Next year, Jelly Roll is confirmed to headline festivals such as Tortuga Music Festival, Stagecoach, Carolina Country Music Festival, and Buckeye Country Superfest.

In the meantime, Jelly Roll is riding high on the news of his newest GRAMMY nominations.

This morning, the Nashville native received two 2025 GRAMMY nods, raising his career total to four. His sixth #1 hit at Country radio, “I Am Not Okay,” earned him nominations for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song.

Additionally, Jelly is in the running for Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year (Whitsitt Chapel), and Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2025 CMA Awards on November 20th.

Jelly Roll will release his next single to Country radio, “Liar” this Monday, November 11.
