Jason Isbell has canceled a couple of concerts and postponed a few upcoming shows after he tested positive with Covid-19.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Isbell wrote, “Got myself a breakthrough case of Covid- feeling fine but we’ll have to cancel the next few shows.”

“Refunds at point of purchase but we’re working on rescheduling,” Isbell tweeted.

The singer explained his symptoms in another tweet, saying, “Lotta sinus drainage type stuff, scratchy in my throat and some muscle aches but no cough or breathing issues fyi. Boosted and very grateful for it.”

Isbell also noted that his daughter Mercy and wife, singer-songwriter and The 400 Unit member Amanda Shires, are negative.

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit shows in Asheville, North Carolina, scheduled for January 11-12, were canceled. Concerts in Louisville, slated for January 14 and 15, one-night-stands in Columbus, Ohio (January 16), Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania (January 17), and Wilmington, North Carolina (January 19), will be rescheduled.

Isbell has not announced any changes to Isbell and the 400 Unit’s next tour date on January 21 in Charlotte, featuring Adia Victoria as opener.
