Jason Aldean celebrated the grand opening of Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar in Las Vegas on Thursday (Dec 5).
The country star was honored with a Key to the Las Vegas Strip by Clark County Commissioner James Gibson, who also proclaimed December 5 as “Jason Aldean Day.” Commissioner Gibson praised Aldean and admitted that the county “considers him one of our own.”
Joined by his wife, Brittany, the Georgia native cut the ribbon to mark the official opening and welcome guests inside the brand-new venue.
“I hope we do everyone proud,” he shared.
Later in the evening Aldean delivered not one, but two performances, one on each stage of the new Sin City venue. Performing songs like “Whiskey Drink,” “Dirt Road Anthem,” and “My Kinda Party,” and later passing out shots of whiskey and tequila.
Still in awe of having his own place in Las Vegas, Aldean marveled, “This is wild. “I started playing in bars, so to have my own bar now here in Las Vegas, right in the heart of the Strip, is amazing.”
Jason Aldean also highlighted the importance of venues like his bar for both new and local artists, providing a space to perform and grow their following.
“As somebody that came up playing in clubs, I know how important it is to have an outlet to play. Whether it’s a new artist trying to break through, maybe with a hit or two, or local artists, it gives them a venue to play and build their following,” he explained. “It’s not only a cool bar, but also cool for artists and out-of-town acts who can get booked here. As a struggling artist early on in my career, places like this — really well done, with great sound systems — were hard to come by. That’s what this place offers.”
Lindsey Stirling, Chancey Williams, RaeLynn and Easton Corbin were also onsite for the celebration.
Throughout the evening, Aldean mingled with attendees, posing for photos, chatting with guests, and giving interviews in the onsite iHeartRadio studio.
Guests spent the evening exploring the venue, capturing memories at the iconic Tractor Bar, Guitar Bar, and the expansive terrace overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. They indulged in Southern-inspired bites and signature cocktails while enjoying live music and DJ sets that kept the energy alive well into the night, establishing the space as a premier destination on the Strip.
“To open our fourth Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar and the first West Coast location in iconic Las Vegas is thrilling,” Adam Hesler, TC Restaurant Group Chief Executive Officer, previously shared. “We will be right on the Las Vegas Strip, at the epicenter of the excitement and look forward to hosting not only incoming visitors from around the world but also giving the Las Vegas residents a unique experience and inviting atmosphere to unwind and have a great time.”
Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar is open daily at 63 CityCenter.
This marks the fourth location of Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar. Other locations include Nashville, Tennessee, Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
