Dustin Lynch released two new tracks “Pasadena” and “Not Every Cowboy” on Friday (July 16), marking his first music since the release of his fourth album, Tullahoma, which came out in early 2020.
In “Not Every Cowboy,” Lynch tries to convince his love interest that he is different from a typical cowboy, assuring her that he does not have the infamous cowboy traits and will not leave her.
Casey Brown, Parker Welling, Conner Smith and Heather Morgan wrote “Not Every Cowboy.”
Through “Pasadena,” Lynch looks back at a past love that still lingers. Lynch co-wrote the song with Jeff Hyde and Ryan Tyndall.
Zach Crowell produced both the tracks.
“‘Not Every Cowboy’ and ‘Pasadena’ are just about that timeless, authentic, American cowboy love story. I’m very proud of how these songs captured that emotion in such a classic way,” Lynch said about the tracks. “They felt special the day we created them and I’m so excited that they’re now out where everyone can enjoy.”
