Country superstar Carrie Underwood makes a surprise cameo appearance in the new season of the Netflix show “Cobra Kai.”
According to reports, Underwood is featured in Episode 9 of Season 4, which dropped on December 31.
The singer appears at the All-Valley Karate Championship as herself and opens her act saying “Everyone gets their moment. This one’s yours.”
Underwood then proceeds to sing “The Moment of Truth,” which was originally performed by Survivor for the soundtrack of 1984’s The Karate Kid.
“I grew up watching Daniel and Johnny, and I can’t believe I actually get to be a small part of the legacy that is The Karate Kid,” Underwood said in a statement. “Once I discovered Cobra Kai a few years ago, it became one of my favorite shows!”
“I had so much fun being on the set and singing such a classic song,” she added. “I cannot wait to watch every new episode!”
Last month, Underwood featured as the first performer at Las Vegas’s new Resorts World Theater where she opened her “REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency.”
After her performance, Underwood said, “It’s such a special honor to be the first artist to perform on this incredible stage in a brand new, beautiful, state-of-the-art theatre at such an exciting new destination as Resorts World Las Vegas.”
“I’m so proud of this show and so happy to finally get to share it with the amazing audiences here in Las Vegas,” she added.
