Dustin Lynch was just days away from making his headlining debut at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO on November 6 when he made the unfortunate announcement that the show has been rescheduled. He took to social media to give fans the update, citing that the reason for the sudden change is due to inclement weather.
This decision was made with an abundance of caution as a heavy snowfall is predicted to hit the area in the coming days. According to a report by Colorado’s own FOX 31, “By the time the storm is over on Wednesday night, some areas could see as much as 10 inches of snow, including potentially a few inches in Denver.”
“Safety is our top priority, and with the current conditions, we want to ensure the best concert experience possible for everyone,” the country star’s post read.
The new date for his milestone performance is set for April 16, 2025. All tickets purchased for the original date will remain valid. Any fans who bought their tickets through AXS and won’t be able to make the new date will have 30 days to request a refund via the AXS Support Form. Otherwise, refunds are available at the original point of purchase.
Lynch Shared A Heartfelt Apology To Fans
Seeing as how Red Rocks is a bucket list amphitheater for many artists, it’s understandable that Lynch was disappointed by the news. He expressed this through a personal message shared with his fans via Instagram stories.
“Well, this one’s a bummer, but I just want to thank everybody that was headed to Red Rocks. I was already headed there, like a lot of my friends and family. I was packing the bags and headed the airport myself and my team members that are out there already too. We had an awesome show ready to rock the sixth here this Wednesday in a couple days, but all the team out there thought it would be wise for us to postpone and reschedule,” he shared.
Even though this was not the outcome he was hoping for just a few days out, Lynch attempted to boost moral by letting his loyal listeners know that when he does finally get to take the stage, it will be the “the biggest and baddest show we’ve ever done.”
“I’m already counting down, already was. I mean, this has been a bucket list show to do since I started playing guitar as a kid. So for everyone that’s spent their hard earned money on travel and all the arrangements it takes to do that, it doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you very much.”
“What A Bummer”
He went on to share his sincere gratitude for all the support he has received despite the news and is doing his best to cope with his disappointment.
“I just want to jump on and send you guys some love. I came out to the farm to kind of find a little piece this evening. So, what a bummer. But love y’all. Catch you soon,” Lynch concluded.
The show was originally scheduled to feature Sister Hazel as a special guest with a portion of the ticket sales going towards Wildland Firefighter Foundation, an organization that works to help fallen and injured firefighters and their families.

This news follows an epic performance that took place on the Skydeck on Broadway in downtown Nashville, where Lynch threw a milestone party in celebration of racking up 10 No. 1 singles throughout his career. The free event, held on Oct. 30, welcomed writers and producers of the hits who joined friends, family, fans, and members of the industry in honoring Lynch.
To kick things off, he received a double plaque presentation for his latest No. 1’s – “Stars Like Confetti” and “Chevrolet (feat. Jelly Roll).” The night continued to honor Lynch’s string of chart-toppers, spanning his first Platinum hit, “Where It’s At,” to his most recent, “Chevrolet.”
In the midst of Lynch’s 11-song set list, he was surprised by BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s General Manager Peter Strickland with a third plaque recognizing his RIAA 2X PLATINUM certification for the history-making six-week No. 1, “Thinking ‘Bout You (feat. MacKenzie Porter).” He was also recognized for his PLATINUM, two-week No. 1, “Ridin’ Roads,” PLATINUM “Good Girl,” 3X PLATINUM, four-week no. 1, “Small Town Boy,” GOLD “Seein’ Red,” GOLD “Mind Reader,” and GOLD “Hell Of A Night.” Plus, he acknowledged his PLATINUM breakout “Cowboys and Angels” with a special spotlight moment during his performance.
