Dan +Shay returned to NBC’s The Voice for a festive finale performance on Tuesday (Dec. 10).
The pair took to the stage to deliver a vibrant rendition of their holiday hit “Officially Christmas” in front of the live audience.
The stage was beautifully decorated for the holiday season, complete with eight massive Christmas trees, and a giant stunning wreath. The duo was joined by a live band that helped bring the magic of the tune to life.
This beloved holiday track became an instant Christmas classic and serves as the title track of Dan + Shay’s long-awaited album, It’s Officially Christmas: The Double Album.
The project arrived in October and features a whopping 21 tracks, including 10 classic, beloved standards on “Disc 1,” while “Disc 2” features 11 original songs written or co-written by Dan + Shay, including three penned solely by Dan Smyers.
It’s Officially Christmas: The Double Album came as a complete surprise to fans as the duo shared, “We are so excited to announce our very first Christmas album, and surprise, IT’S A DOUBLE ALBUM. This project has been a decade in the making, and we are so proud of every single note. We truly leaned into our love for the holiday season and think we found some magic in these songs.”

Dan + Shay previously made history on NBC’s The Voice when they appeared as coaches in the first-ever double chair. The double chair was previously incorporated on versions of the singing competition show that are broadcasted from other countries, however this was a first for the U.S. version of The Voice.
Following their run as coaches, the duo returned to the road for their Heartbreak on the Map Tour, bringing their live show to cities around the country throughout this year.
