Lainey Wilson finally shared a release date for her long-awaited collaboration with fellow country queen Miranda Lambert. A studio version of, “Good Horses,” is set to arrive on Friday, August 2, following a few special live performances of the song over recent months by the two country superstars. The track is also set to be included on Wilson’s highly-anticipated new album, Whirlwind, which is set for release on August 24. Wilson and Lambert shared a playful announcement of their forthcoming song together on Instagram, with the pair appropriately being joined by an exuberant horse while they revealed the release date from the stables.

Wilson further teased their new duet by also sharing a short clip of her and Lambert performing “Good Horses” live together, captioning the post, “Can’t wait to share this one with y’all 🐴🌾” Wilson isn’t the only one who has a hot new release coming out this fall, as Lambert just announced her forthcoming ninth studio album, Postcards From Texas, is due out on September 13.
