Country superstar Miranda Lambert recently dropped a video for “If I Was A Cowboy.” The video is set in a western town in Texas and shows Lambert in classic cowboy avatar.
The video opens with the singer riding to a saloon where a brawl is brewing at the poker table. The video also features the singer sitting around a campfire with some of her acquaintances and going through with the song.
In an Instagram post, Lambert shared, “We shot this video in a little old town in Texas with real cowboys and you’ll see some cameos from a few of my favorite people,” referring to her husband Brendan McLoughlan and the rest of the cast.
People in the know have categorized the song as an extension of her 2020 Grammy-nominated The Marfa Tapes album, which was also set in the western town of Marfa in Texas.
